L405 headlight bracket broken

Hi

Just noticed on my 2016 MY FFRR that one of the brackets on the top of the headlight is broken ( see photo).

Didn’t notice it when I bought the car so no come back to the dealer. I’ve tried and they have been brilliant sorting other things including Re spraying bumpers and d-pillars but I guess they have to draw a line somewhere.

I understand this will be an MOT failure?

Headlights are non-adaptive Xenons.

Seems crazy that I need to replace the whole headlight but part of the bracket is missing so no plastic welding

Any thought or ideas for a solution that doesn’t cost about £1000?

Cheers

Andrew

You could plastic weld that with a large pice of ABS to fill the gap.
