20'' are certainly have a more comfortable ride but the stance at the rear doesnt quite look right....

the 21'' being 9.5j as opposed to the 20'' 8.5j just gives the rears a better look.....

i run 21'' and although they follow truck produced ruts , you dont get them that often its not that bad.... ... - .- -.

Does anyone have experience with 22" in the snow ? I am considering moving down to the 21" to ensure a better snow performance and off road performance. Unless anyone can comment on their experience with the 22" ? All subject to tyre choice I understand.

More down to the tyre choice than wheel size to be honest.

If you are fitting proper winters then continental, good year and Pirelli all do a winter in 275/40 22. Also Vredstien do winters in the 22” in both wintrac extreme and wintrac pro. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I run 22's with Conti Winters - this is my 5th winter living in a ski resort - I've not yet fitted my chains, ever - and I drive in the snow quite often, though slightly less this year with working at home & not driving to the airport & back every week Smile That said, the local Fiat Pandas do quite well too.

I've got some nice Thule K77's in the boot - 2 pairs - that have never been used.

I doubt you'll see any difference with 21 - there is some benefit with a 20 as it's slightly narrower. The extra sidewall will give you some kerb protection though, if you feel you need that.

Tread depth also helps in the snow, winter tyres are considered gone at 4mm.

Doesn’t snow where I live, last white stuff was 2 years ago. Yet it snows 25miles away in Stoke! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I'm still not happy with the wheels I've got....

I've decided that the style 1065 wheels don't look right on a black car [they look too small at the rear and interestingly look better on a lighter coloured car].

The style 7008 are just not quite my cup of tea.

The style 7007 look nice, but my friend who lent me them for a short while wants to keep them.

Is anyone interested in a swap? Possibly for 21"? All the 1065 and 7008 wheels are in perfect condition. The tyres on the 1065 are about 7mm and tyres on the 7008 vary between 6mm and 4mm. Current:

Black === black wheels, it will make any style look better. And then minimum of 22” but as it’s an l405 I’d go for 23”. Resistance is futile and you’ll end up with that conclusion in the end 🤣

Is that because you can't see the style when the wheels are black? Laughing MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

I would go with the 22 Turbines, BUT what difference does it make to the ride?

Having seen the interest in FF examples where the whole car is black, and I mean those where EVERYTHING is black, I suspect that there may be some former closet Goth's lurking on this site. Rolling with laughter
