I don't know the real answer, but when I was looking to retro fit one to my 2006 Vogue SE, all the 2nd hand ones on ebay were from 2003-2004 models, so perhaps it was option from around 2005.

And its also worth knowing that on the later cars they stopped making the brackets that allow the roller blind to be repositioned when the rear seats are folded forwards, as per some of the pics in the set in that thread. Discovery 4 HSE

I'm pretty sure it came as standard on my first Rangie (one of the BMW engined ones in about 2004).

ive got this on my 2003 hse with both fixing positions i thought it was standerd "RANGEISM WILL NOT BE TOLERATED"

I think as long as you assume the parts chappie is thick as Pig poo you can't go far wrong Discovery 4 HSE

RRUK - just had a quote from Beadles Landrover (no particular reason why them... just happened upon them on the internet as Landrover Parts suppliers) of £72.89 inc vat for the fittings. (I assume this is for both sides).

I think by the time I'd got ALL the parts it wasn't far off. I spent more in diesel going backwards and forwards to the dealer after they didn't sell me all the parts i needed
