Are this front and rear screens original

Hi,

I`m checking out this FF and I´ve seen that front dash screen and rear ones are different as anyother I´ve seen

do you think they are original or afetermarket?

Thank you

Not something I’ve ever seen. Looks aftermarket to me. That doesn’t have to be a bad thing, but make sure all speakers work and subwoofer as well. Naturally the price should drop reflecting its not original Wink

I wonder how one sets the time without the original screen?

You’ll be pulling the fuse at 12 to set the clock.

Front screen looks ok, though aftermarket as already pointed out.

Interested to hear how it all works and hangs together now.....

Those are headrests for factory RSE though. I know some Ultimate models had iPads like in the same place as the screen in the pic. Very intriguing......

Can’t be that though, as entire seat looks different.

It’s definitely a neat looking system. But whether it is any good is anyone’s guess. It would be a lot of work to restore it to stock, so at risk of repeating myself the price must be good.

It will be the same system I have I’d imagine which is far better than stock with the like of carplay added. If you have a look at ibus app website they do an awesome launcher looks feelS and acts like the lates Bmw I drive setups. I spent a lot of time and money making it all work nicely with the existing speaker setup which it does.

Some claim to have the onboard computer working on them so it may be able to set the time although I have never seen this. Would be interested if it does Current stable:

What about the 4x4 display? Or setting the analog and digital clocks? Does it integrate with the harmon/kardon amplifier?

I must admit I prefer to have the stock system in there and be able to switch to CarPlay or Auto...

The clocks I just press a button at midday or midnight twice a year and they are fine. 4x4 display I never used in 5 years so not missed - venture cam and reverse cam are working through the various inputs.

I haven’t yet but you can leave an iid tool connected so you get far more information than stock.
Yes it does integrate with the amplifier via a rca to most adapter. Current stable:
