oil cooler has been fixed and the back of the engine is dry no oil, i think its coming from further back just no idea where to look now 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8

It's protection deteriorates and falls on the exhaust which causes smoke

I can look at that but i think it’s too much smoke the insulation looks ok but I’ll check it 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8

Whip off pollen box and look. Could be old oil or the O rings are Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

took the box off and climbed on top of the engine all 18stone of me much to the amusement of the neighbours to get a good look down the back, bone dry the garage had cleaned it down and no leaks anywhere the oil cooler is clean as is the o ring pipe 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8

What about from underneath, any oil drips showing around bellhousing etc. You should be able to put the vehicle into extended height, open one of the doors to stop it dropping down and slide underneath with a torch and have a good look round, you might need to remove the under tray but that’s a straight forward job 2011 TDV8 Vogue SE |

nope all dry it was covered in oil when i got it but after the oil cooler etc was changed and they cleaned it down its been dry, they have told me to take it for a blast and bring it in and they will put it on the ramp whilst im there hopefully we will work out the issue 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8

just had it on the ramp at the garage the back of the engine is bone dry no oil to be seen, he is just as stumped as me 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8
