I got this error on the touchscreen after a few seconds of the ignition being turned on then the whole entertainment system would shutdown. Just in case anyone else is faced with the same problem I thought I would post my findings and solution.

Yep, a well known fatty leak spot, have you done something to shed any more water that pours in..? Pete

Not so far, it's wasn't immediately apparent where the water gets in. It was certainly damp in there when i picked the car up but I've been checking it ever since and it's remained bone dry in there so far. Any clues as to where it gets in? 2011 TDV8 4.4 Vogue SE in Galway Green with Black leather

Several culprits including the window, JLR did a shield which was basically a sheet of plastic to shed water away from the top of all the electrics. Wrapping them in a plastic bag should help, I doubt it's a one off... It usually only leaks when the car is parked in a particular orientation to the rain... Pete
