i think its in the menu where you can switch tpms monitoring on/off [and get the tyre pressure readings...]

the car should pick up the tpms automatically if its switched on.. ... - .- -.

Not sure, but I thought there was a sensor reader by each wheel. Are these fitted to cars without TPMS? Current:

Thats kinda what I am asking.....I dont have it right now as I assume my wheels dont have it, but if I had wheels with the sensors built-in then can I just enable it...... all smug in my new plug!

also, from november 2014 all vehicles sold in the UK must have a tpms system...

you might be unlucky and not have it if yours is a 2013...check the menu.. ... - .- -.

United Kingdom 2014 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Balmoral Blue

Hello all....

Sorry to drag this old thread up...!!

I've just bought a 14 plate AutoBiog L405 (and nice it is too). Have installed a "Black Pack" to it and about to add some refurbed, Black 22' wheels. Now...these wheels have the TPMS installed, but in the Service Menu on my car, it doesn't have any option to switch TPMS on/off....so I'm guessing that there is no way for it to work on my car? To be honest...I'm happy without, but wonder if I need to remove the valves from the wheels and fit standard jobs to get rid of any nuisance messages/alerts?

Thanks in advance you experts you.... Smile

Are you getting nuisance messages? If TPMS is not fitted to your vehicle and you don't have the antennae in each of the wheel arches, you shouldn't get any messages because the car cannot see the sensors in the wheels. Kev
