i think its in the menu where you can switch tpms monitoring on/off [and get the tyre pressure readings...]

Not sure, but I thought there was a sensor reader by each wheel. Are these fitted to cars without TPMS? Current:

also, from november 2014 all vehicles sold in the UK must have a tpms system...

you can switch it off with a GAP iidtool..

Are you getting nuisance messages? If TPMS is not fitted to your vehicle and you don't have the antennae in each of the wheel arches, you shouldn't get any messages because the car cannot see the sensors in the wheels. Kev
