Floor mats L322

I’ve bought a set of jet black mats this morning in very good condition. However unlike my old set there is no Velcro on them to hold them in place but a small plastic lug. The guy who sold them to me says they screw into the carpets and hook onto the mats but I don’t know where to put them or which direction they are meant to face. They are like an eccentric cam so they will not line up if they are rotated either way.

Also - are the rubber mats I already have meant to lie over the top of the carpet mats or replace them? I’ve left them in the boot after a good clean and power wash.

Thanks 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

On mine, the pointy part of the hook faces towards the rear of the car. 2021 D350 Fifty Edition - Carpathian Grey

Thanks. Do I need to make holes in the carpets or are they already there? 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

I wouldn't put the rubber mats over the carpet ones, they will get wet and never dry out..!! Thumbs Up Pete

The holes are in the mats. I’m referring to the carpet in the car. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded
