The EU has asked the FIA to investigate and then implement electric racing cars......................... it must be true as R4's Tonight programme has just been discussing it with a motor racing journo. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

Future F1's will no doubt be clad in solar pannels with regenerative brakes and drivers searched for sneaky 9 volt batteries before they hop in Very Happy Its a step in the right direction I guess... but what about the motor tone.. the smell.... the shrill as they pass by Neutral 2010 Disco XS TDV6, 2009 Freelander 2 GS

Ha, yes that was the comment from the Journo - what makes F1 is the noise and the smell! But he did acknowledge that FIA should be concentrating on the effect on the environment of not just the races but also getting the teams all over the world. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes
