Afternoon all,

Just looking to potentially consolidate two cars in to one, as I now work in London and it seems a shame to leave the car sitting in the train station car park. I'm looking to see what the general consensus based on experience and possibly those in the trade as to what i should expect as a PX figure for the following cars;

1) A D3 HSE (05 55) with 86k miles, Bonatti Grey with black leather, all HSE extras for a MY06 car (rear air con, fridge box etc) , plus rear DVD, factory tints, side steps, fixed towbar, PTI kit.

2) FFRR TDV8 Vogue (08 08 ), with 45k miles, Java Black, black leather. All Vogue extras plus RSE (non LR) with 6 DVD changer, Factory tints

Both have full service history, i appreciate this is all subject to a dealer viewing and running over them, however for this exercise if you can assume they are both good/excellent condition. The idea is to trade both against a D4 for my wife, therefore trying to see if this is feasible and the budget available.

I found this very helpfull. Local Stratstone offered me £9000 for my FFRR where as three others happily offered £12000 when I made reference to the trade book value researched on line. The Chap at Stratstone clearly though I came down in the last shower. Couple of days of FFRR ownership left.

The site will also give you an idea of the margins being made. Bear in mind that as we come in to Summer the traders will be less keen to give high prices. They went nuts in the winter.
