Wifeys new ride!

So, we decided to sell wifeys D4 as we don't have a need for it any longer as a company... I put her in an 06 AJV8 for the last couple of months, then one day a few weeks ago a car was booked in for chains & tensioners etc etc on a 2012 5.0 late model 322... Then the owner asked if we might like to buy it instead of him waiting for us to repair it... Well, here she is in all her glory all fixed and running beautifully... All new chains guides & tensioners, new water pump, plugs & coil packs. New side skirts from Overfinch, removed the ghastly mudflaps (a pet hate of mine) a repaint of the bonnet top panel in the style of the side vents & hay ho... Happy wife! Happy life...

Craig

Very nice mate. I’d have one in a heart beat, they have climbed in value recently too. Can you get better than me in the Porsche? I’m averaging 14mpg Rolling with laughter Mr. Green Rolling with laughter

Hi Craig

I have the same spec as your wife`s new ride only with the oil burner engine with just 91k and no tow bar fitted well looked after car, I am very pleased with it.
I also have the design kit fitted but wanted to fit deployable steps so had to remove the side skirts, and fit the standard moldings on in place

I notice you have nice fitting side moldings that the steps fit into? are the Overfinch moldings easy to obtain that you have on her ride?

Do your wife`s car also have the adaptive headlights as mine has and are great at night?

Cheers Thumbs Up

Mine too. Thumbs Up

You should've bought her a VAG then you could've used that AUX cable. Laughing

Yup welcome to the future. At least someone else thinks of the children.

Needs blacking out a bit in my opinion but otherwise a nice one.

Tinman, adaptive lights were standard iirc on these. Auto main beam required the vision pack.

Hello Tinman, yes we have AFS on it and yes they are lush!

2nd yes the side moldings are Overfinch units... Cost new around £2500 back in 2012! Today, £200ish on ebay! And yes, they are an absolute must with any design pack... Thumbs Up
