slight whirring noise on left turn only when AC is on auto

Hi guys

My car has developed an slight whirring noise whenever I move the steering wheel at all to the left, if I turn the ac nob to disengage the auto function the noise stops.

I have tried to search without success, any ideas?

Best to update your profile so people know which fatty you have so they can help you. Probably the reason for no replies so far.

not sure which model you have so slightly hard to answer.

However, turning the stereo up should work for most models
