2012 4.4 TDV8 rear calipers

Hello could anyone recommend a trusted supplier for a pair of rear calipers please.

They seem to cost vastly different amounts. Just good quality OEM middle of the road would be fine

I'm not a fan of the blue boxed make so something better than them would be good.

I freed it up a month or so ago and thought it was ok but the problem seems to have come back this morning. It's the piston sticking, the slides and pads are fine.

Thanks

I just bought a pair of genuine ones from Maltings. £350 though. My right piston was completely corroded and the left piston like new.

Hi,

Most places seem to offered them on an exchange basis for around £180 + £30 surcharge each (£210 initially), with the surcharge refundable when they receive your old calipers back.

Maltings have new TRW items (as per originals) for £185 per side delivered and no surcharge on Ebay:

Or if you're feeling a little more adventurous and the caliper bore is OK:

I got mine from Advanced Factors, there's a forum discount too.

Dunc. The life you have is the only one you'll get; make the most of it.

Thank you all.

I have decided to get the TWR ones as the only other option is from the Main dealer at apparently about £400 a side or budget ones with a blue label for £40 a side that I wouldn't let anywhere near my LR's

Mine seems to be the same, Lh is ok, but I would rather change the pair.

The one's you've got (TRW) are genuine! You won't get any different from a LR dealer. The brake design and manufacture is by TRW. You've made the right decision Thumbs Up Thumbs Up 1992 RR Classic 3.9 efi Vogue
