I cant speak for anyone else but it could just be people being carefull with a large cash purchase in these difficult times. Due to covid iv been shut down for almost a year now and due to the nature of my work wont be open until earliest may. Iv lost a whole years turn over, no salary and not inline for any Gov assistance, had it not been for covid I would have bought your amazing car in an instant and downsized to just x1 car, we currently run a 2003 L322 and a 2005 D3. Not that there is anything wrong with either but at our time in life I think me and the wife deserve a little treat.

I completly understand your frustration but for some of us these are very uncertain times.

I think this is the problem - all of the forecourts are closed so all of the dreamers and timewasters have nowhere to go other than look at private sales.
My pet theory is that these "idiot buyers" are actually employed by dealers to try and stop us selling privately

That's why I prefer to trade in or sell via Motorway or similar. Can't be arsed with all the jokers turning up for a free spin (or worse scammers attempting to steal/defraud). for a grand or two less prefer not having this hassle. L405 4.4 AB Loire Blue

Same like you, I priced my wife's Audi really well. Slightly above trade-in, and way below retail. Got lots of interest of dreamers wanting to buy at trade-in, yet expecting everything to be like a new car and even come with warranty and wanting to test drive.

Through Motorway I had Audi themselves come to my house, check it over, stuck to their offer, and had it picked up within a week with an instant money transfer on the day. Low risk, low hassle. Not worth dealing with dreamers over.

LOL 2 of those dreamers I called their bluff and said that if you offer me that, and you are trade, then please transfer the money now and you can come and pick it up. Naturally even at that low price they didn't. And came up with some story like it is for their wife, and sick child and so on. Like I care...

Anyway you car looks fantastic, is very realistically priced, I'm sure the trade in will go well...

It’s where traders will bid for your car. I would sell sooner than later as stock in the system is low at the moment.
