United Kingdom 2017 Range Rover Vogue TDV6 Carpathian Grey

Update,

The Voda sim didn't work in mine either so I might go ahead and buy the Three one to see if it's a sim issue or a read issue. '67 Full Fat RR

I think for me, the SIM slot is not right and so the dealer is going to sort it Smile '67 Full Fat RR

i found it a bit fiddly i was expecting a tray to put the sim in but there isn't its a micro sim thats the second size as long as its pushed in fully and you switch the car on and wait 2 min it should work

As reported elsewhere, my issue was diagnosed as a damaged sim reader and the dealer fitted a new one under warranty...
The Voda sim now works fine. Mike - MPx

You have to buy your own sim, even on a brand new car IIRC

From what I can remember, its included when you buy the car new, it was fitted by the dealer and came in a Black/Silver wallet, UBU or something, its for the cars personal Hotspot.

tbh unless you they have updated the cars to work on a better mobile standard then you are as well just using a phone on personal hotspot mode.

from what I can remember the cars have a slow connection speed possibly 3g or 4g at best and you tend to get a faster connection with a phone. the absence of a sim should not affect the rest of the car, just the mobile hotspot. Thumbs Up

I never bothered with the slot in mine, the kids use their phone or tablet data or connect them to my hotspot on my phone, which is enough to listen to music or stream the odd bit of you tube. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
