I've still got my old Britains LWB Land Rover from the early 70's in the attic. Fully working independent suspension and removable canvas ('plastic') roof. Also can steer the front wheels by turning the spare wheel mounted on the tailgate. Unfortunately, I had an obsession of painitng things as a kid and changed it from blue to green but I did a good job on it (though I say so myself). Also got the old Corgi 2 door Police Range Rover (had cones & police signs in back) and the standard Dinky 2 door range rover (in metallic red).

Having been inspired by RRUK, I now have a model FFRR in Java Black just like mine (it's a 53 plate one, but most won't be able to tell the difference!). It's currently residing on the mantle piece until the missus notices!
