If a wiring fault occurs then you'll soon know about it from the displayed fault message. |

Have a look here, Sam measures the voltage whilst driving so might give you what you are looking for.

There's no doubt that the current draw will increase as the duty cycle increases as the ecu reduces damping. |

Yeah, I have had a faulty sensor, but I am loooking more for being able to read the amps , and was wondering if the GAP showed this , it appears it does not. Thanks |

That was the video I had rpeviously mentioned. He is measuring Amps not volts. Thanks |

Measuring voltage using an analogue meter will show a low voltage for a short pwm duty cycle and a higher voltage for a longer duty cycle but a digital meter will jump all over the place. Some digital meters have a pwm function, being able to display frequency and duty cycle. |
