Could be the key battery? Worth changing as a first thought?

Thanks Dan for the tips, sadly no success... Its one of the auto charging fobs. The key has been on the hook, or just getting out of the car. The spare is the same. I think it may be interference from something locally. However its been fine for 4 months until this morning. If i change location it again works ok.......... Ian |

The old P38's suffered terribly with this if there was a sensor nearby for gates/doors etc... Does say something if it starts with no trouble just up the road..! Ash

car remotes work around the 433mhz frequency, if there is a ham radio operator or a water board repeater station etc near you then they could interfere with the signal.. ... - .- -. Y. O. L. O. . |
