You have to buy your own sim, even on a brand new car IIRC |

Yes, apologies: 67 plate. Okay so it seems I have to buy a Sim and the dealer didn't hold one back then ? |

Thanks! I saw that one but I then found out that the coverage for that network is no good around where I live whereas Vodafone is very good and I think that the Vodafone Sim that I linked to is basically the same deal!??? But reduced to £36 for the Vodafone one. Edit to add: meant to quote Chalky! Edit to add again, that the link I put up doesn't seem to work. See picture attached:

I've bought a Voda sim and put it in mine and the car wont read it. Still haven't gotten to the bottom of why, but just saying it may not turn out as simple as you'd expect. Mike - MPx

Yeah, I think its the same sim. I've not tried to return it as it obviously should work and is recognised in a phone. My next move is to get LR to take a look under warranty, but that's not as easy as it should be in lockdown. If you do a search on here you'll see that many have had issues getting their sims to work and some are that the reader is flakey. But may be something else. Mike - MPx
