Thought that may be the case, as they've been advertising on peak time TV lately. Have they just become a run of the mill insurance agent/broker, or do they sell their own policies? |

I never stay with the same company, you only get a decent deal by shopping around and being a rate tart.

As far as I am aware Larry, they have always sold their own policies. £500 for any driver, towing, off road use, business use and no additional fees is pretty reasonable. Most insurers specifically exclude business use, off road driving and towing. If you go for 1 or two named drivers the cost does come down significantly. imho they are one of the cheapest when you compare like with like as its a mutual. Renewing policy holders also get up to 10% discount and there is also additional large discounts for long term undertakings. i.e. if you agree to use their insurance for longer periods. Farmers use them for a reason - tight fisted gits |

My son was 17 on May 14th, passed his test on May 19th, just added him on for 2 weeks £21. they added him on the deffender for just £12 for the year. NFU are verry sensible. letters not necessarily in the right order |
