Bought my first Range Rover a few weeks ago. It's a 2002 L322 TD6 HSE in Epsom green. I bought it as a farm run about but now I find myself trying to keep it clean! So far I've rebuilt the air compressor and got the air suspension working, serviced the engine and gearbox, and fixed a few other minor issues. Next up is aux belts, paint the sub frames, and fix the few blemishes on the paint work.

Hi all, recently bought my first Range Rover. An L405 SDV8 SE. I used to work for LR so should know better than to buy one really,but I've always loved them. I nearly bought a tired P38 when I worked there about 18 years ago but never went through with it. Enjoying it so far and has an interesting history having previously been owned by the Team Manager of Classic Team Lotus who run the historic F1 cars and was Senna’s chief mechanic in the early days. I had been looking for one for ages in the right spec,eventually gave up trying to find one with clear glass but other than the tints this one is just right.

Evening folks... just joined. Looking at getting a 4.2S around April time so having whittled it down to a model, joined the forum to search out as much info as possible. Not new to Land Rover ownership as am currently suffering enjoying my Disco 2 V8 and have been for years but I'm treating myself to an upgrade (and taking the opportunity to reduce the number of cars I own).

I accidentally ended up in the situation of owning a car for each occasion, rather than one for every occasion, so the Range Rover's job will be to be my daily (not much there as it looks like homeworking is here to stay for me), long distance relax-o-barge and the tow vehicle. Towing is either the track car (around 1t including the trailer) or caravan (circa 1.5t). It's the latter that's convinced me it's time to upgrade the Disco really, as the poor thing gets overcome by gravity on anything other than a slight incline.

I'm telling myself that I'll take a nice TDV8 if it's a real gem, but the head wants the petrol so that will be the main focus.

If anybody needs me, I'll be spamming the search function

Just signed up and looking to buy a 2011 - 2012 Vogue SE TDV8 in Grey or blue, FSH, with a tow bar and all the toys in immaculate condition for next to nothing. Well I can dream can't I?

Currently have a 2004 l322 tdv6, love it. so far running well, and very good off road.
In the past i have owned 4 classics, a p38, and a couple of jeeps.
Taken all of them off road, noting extreme, but enough to get them Stuck.
Hope to keep learning, and hope to help if i can.

Just graduated from being a Disco 1 pilot for the last 12 years. (Still have it for those dirty jobs or 7-seat road trips).

New sled is the 2011 L322 FFRR 5.0SC

I’ve already spent hours filling my brain with the knowledge from this site. Re leak in boot and drivers climate seat not working.
Just part of the RR experience I guess. Either way working or not I love this truck!
