Yep, cog is gone and also the spring that ejects it from what I can see...

Apparently still available new from LR in the UK. But a less Palatable cost for something that will get very little use on my car. The only other long shot is to cannibalise parts off another unit, to use on it. Maybe BMW?

Fixed mine the other day cup holder wouldn’t pop so replace the constant force spring, now as good as new
