When you book a service with a specialist...

...and they say "Oh, Christ!" when you tell them it's the 5.0 supercharged! Rolling with laughter

This is fine. Shocked

Hahaha mine just instantly calls his financial adviser and increases their pension plan. Same for my local shell garage man. Heck even the local curry house seems to increase prices doe me 🤣

I'm not aware of any in the New Forest, and nearby Brooklyn 4x4 won't touch petrol vehicles...so I've had to go a little further out.

To be fair to them they are super busy at the moment and booked up for the next four weeks, so he was trying to determine if he could squeeze me in around existing work.

The brilliant reaction indicated that was not going to be possible Laughing

I use them. I think that they would probably do petrol if you asked them nicely!

Ha, that was from a while back. Well it was West 4x4 and Mark did a great job servicing and checking over the vehicle - well worth the trip! Thumbs Up

He'd just serviced an L405 supercharged as well if I remember rightly, so he certainly has no issues with petrol fatties Smile

Yes, Craig also someone I'll also talk to when those bigger jobs come round - I'll need to get the chain done at some point...!

I know from a forum member that Roy from LR Christchurch main dealer has moved to New Forest Garage Services in Cadnam is a go-to for our motors. Definitely a place to use if in "the Forest". He's a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable Chief Tech. Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Oh wow, thanks for the tip - that's just made my day! Very Happy

I know the place, it's just up the road from me, but hadn't managed to find any recent FFRR recommendations since they changed hands.

I'll give them a try soon Thumbs Up
