The main speaker on the drivers door cars on my 2007 has a slight rattle to it.

Can the speakers be replaced individually? Does anyone know of a suitable replacement?

Check it’s not the door card creaking one of mine was blown and one was the card creaking they both sounded similar... Current stable:
2006 BMW M6
2007 4.2 V8 S/C FF
Gone:
2002 4.4 V8 FF

I put some pressure on the door card and it didn’t seem to make any difference unfortunately. Am fairly convinced it’s the speaker.

I got a genuine brand new bottom one from the bay for £40 or thereabouts and a top one from a breaker for £20

Pretty straightforward job, get some spare clips for the door card before you start and give your door handle mechanism a grease up while you’re there.
