Advice please

Just received exchange alternator and required confirmation

The alternator from the car had the following indentification

BH 41 10300 AC
104210-6280

The replacement

BH 41 10300 AD
104210-6281

I am told they are the same LR code LR022528. And the later a replacement.

Is the replacement OK to use

If I had to guess I would assume the AC to AD is merely a revision update.
Since the rest of the number is the same, I would not be concerned about fitting it, if all connections are the same. Too many toys, not enough time

The correct Denso part number for TDV8 engines is
DAN1110

There are lots of different LR numbers but ultimately if it’s for a TDV8 whatever model DAN1110
