They were originally listed as an option on all UK cars with the 380mm front brakes, and, as the only factory 19” wheel, are still shown as options elsewhere for cars with those front brakes (for which the part nos haven’t changed since the L405 was new). The front brakes are the same size as the late L322 and the 19” Style 5 goes over them, so it’s not necessarily a diameter thing.

It’s contrary to what I’ve been told. If they do fit my MY17 SDV8 I’ll be buying a set ASAP.

It’s less about the brake diameter more the offset.

The 19” 4.4tdv8 322 wheels fit nicely over what are the same brakes, but the centre of the disc/hub sticks out more on the 322 so this moves the wheel out. On the 405 the offset is less so for example the 322 19” won’t fit onto the wheel the will catch the outer face of the calliper. They would go over for diameter but not in/out.

The 405 19” would be interesting on the SDv8..... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

The brochure I have says the 19" wheels are available for TDV6 only. Only Range Rovers since 1988

^So does the 2017 brochure/booklet that I have.

I would like to run 19" rims with AT tyres during the winter months,

This is from a 2013 US brochure (first thing I found) - “Range Rover” and “HSE” have 350mm front and rear brakes, “Supercharged” and “Autobiography” have the 380mm front and 365mm rear brakes; the triangle symbol is no cost option:

LT: You might be easier just putting 255/55R20 tyres on it for the winter, I have Goodyear Duratracs on a second set of wheels for that purpose and have been happy with them, though they do have a 99mph rating only. There are other AT tyres in that size, with higher speed ratings. I've not found the lower sidewall a problem. Only Range Rovers since 1988

If I could find one for less than £200 a wheel I would get one just to see....

Curious why the size is 235/65 19 rather than a 255 width, which has been standard fayre across the LR ranges for ages. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

The Duratracs are great, but too off road oriented for my needs. I could get GG AT3's in 255-55-20, but I'm not a big fan of GG's as I've heard and read too many mixed reviews. I'm also still umming and ahing about Cooper Discoverer AT3 Sport 2 in 285-50-20.

As I'm not going anywhere other than my office, I've not been giving it that much attention.
