Driveline whine and vibration

ive been trying to chase this issue with my 06 FFRR and lately its gotten worse that some passengers notice it.

Its a whine/groan on the drivetrain that's felt on the steering wheel, pedals and the floor. Starts at takeoff at any throttle settings. Replaced all the wheels bearings but to no avail. Also there seems to be an on off throttle slack that i feel on the drivetrain accompanied by a whine on power and overrun. Checked the axles and they seem tight. Did a recent filter and fluid change on the transmission, the two diffs and the transfer case. Not much help.

About a year ago i replaced a torn axle boot on the left side front. It seems that from that point on the problem progressed.

Anyone? 06 FFRR HSE

My 2004MY has just gone in for a similar problem, groan more than anything else. Will update you when they inform me. At the moment they are looking at a drive shaft problem.

I have a whine when I drive more than 80kmh( over 50mph)

Its the front diff. there was a problem on diffs that some paint is polluting the oil or something. LR made a service bulletin for that.

you better check a disco board. The disco also have this problem.

The 'Land Rover Specialist' told me my vibration problem was the rear diff.
Decided to get a second opinion, as I could feel the vibration from the front.
The problem was flat spots on the front offside tyre. Changed tyres all round, as they were close to end of life, and now it's a totally different vehicle. So much for the expert, saved myself a lot of money.
