Can't take it with you mate, if it's manageable, I'd go for the 2010. Have you thought about the depreciation when the new models arrives? 2006 Mercedes CLS

Not really knowing your situation it's a difficult one. Would I buy any late model FFRR with a year or so till the new model arrives? No. But what your heart wants and what your head wants can be two different things. It's easy to say "live for today" but then you're stuck with the old model in a few years which'll have lost how much and the new shape will be sitting in showrooms... Maybe my situation will give you an example? I sold the 08 FFRR. I should never have let the 06 go. It did what I needed and had better seats which is what I missed the most. Plus it had proven reliability. But I got wrapped up in the whole "must have the new model/engine/spec" thing. Could I afford it? Yes. But I just kept looking out of the window at the TDV8 knowing it'd cost me nearly twice what the TD6 did and it wasn't even nearly twice the car, yet it looked the same. I think that's my point, I'd wait for the new model. ![]() |

Agree with above - hold off one more year and buy a 2010 when it's lost another 20%! |
