My “11” plate Full Fat 4.4 VSE

So after a few months looking and a couple of cars falling though I am back in the Range Rover fold with a one that’s just gone over 100k - I might be mad time will tell

My last Range Rover was a 300tdi classic (softdash) that was the wrong engine for that car and did not stay long, I have also had a V8 D2 and still have a V8 109 and getting to the end of a long running rebuild of my 4.6 110

I have been asking questions on the forum (thanks for the input) but I thought now I have one I will put a thread together that records my experience and the advice I might need, issues I have found so far

Rear disks are a little rough, but effective - will wait until the summer to swap them out, it’s just had an mot and stops well
Rear Arches and Sills - very clean and solid though some very minor evidence of it, needs preventative maintenance, though I don’t think wax will creep enough, I wondered about Lanoguard anyone used it?
Won’t play music via the usb and I don’t have the iPod cable, looks like Bovi 1000 is the way to go? I am an Apple fanboy
One of the keys is falling apart ... new case?
Fuel Burning heater ... seams to work but no fob look into a T90/91 for it
Code Reader - need to read up on this
Need some roof bars, I kayak, Climb and MTB
Load Bay and tailgate liner ... see above

It’s got an “ok” service History, gearbox flush etc at the local independent (JAS) though tempted to get them to look it over while I have a warranty (3 months) and plug in for any fault codes

I will put a photo up when it’s dry, it’s a stunning dark Blue with Black interior I hope to keep it a long time so finger crossed I have a good one and I sort out a decent system for my kayaks
