Got to say my 2016MY 405 is much better inside than my 2010MY 322 was. Both VSE spec, but the 405 has nicer finishes to the ‘hard’ surfaces. Semi aniline leather on seats is pretty much identical but everything else is better. |

I usually say the L405 is a better car than the L322 - the L322 is a better 'Range Rover' than the 405.

I’m sure if I was to try a late 405 I would change my mind. But considering the price difference between a late 322 and early 405 I’m still in the 322 camp. |

I would quite like a late 405 interior in an L322 body, to me the best looking. Range Rover 4.2 Supercharged 2006

Like the chunky and solid feel of the 322...and the technology of the 405

I was always wary of older JLR vehicles, but after joining this forum and seeing the constant stream of issues, an L322 terrifies me! |

Give it time, it won't be long before you start getting issues with L405's |

I'm not saying anything, don't want to tempt fate! At least it's in warranty, although I appreciate that dealers aren't always great at fixing issues when they arise.... MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

Why would you consider changing from a TDV8 to a SDV6? Or would you get an SDV8 if you could get on with the interior? |
