Oil level - check it cold and it should be a couple of notches below max. Then check it 30mins after switching off hot engine. Both times ignition on only remember Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Agree with the above. Holding the light switch in for a good few seconds will stop it coming on. Useful if leaving doors open etc. Press and hold again to return to normal operation. Worth a try.

No, bonnet can be shut for oil level. I think what was being touched on is that there is a sequence to follow to force it to tell you if you are outside the normal check period. I’ve never had to do that in 5 years. Just leave it for 15 or 20.... ignition on.... go into the display and it should show you.

Blower fuse = check it in boot to make sure it's not blown. You may need a multimeter to check it once removed.

Few updates for you all. Oil level display is now working, I think it must of been due to me trying to check the oil level too soon after switching the engine off

When you put your lights on (side/main rather than interior) do you get anything from the 2 ambient LED's (you might need to hold your hand close to tell). I am assuming the you have checked the bulbs in the interior light unit too. Just wondering if these have been changed for LED's too and have blown or have thrown a fault 2011 TDV8 Vogue SE |
