Friend of mine got a fake track & trace - then was asked for £50 for a test.

My Mother & Mother-in-law have both been contacted by text, in one case there was a link to a page to make the booking and the other was just a prompt to phone the surgery to make the booking, both were legitimate texts.

I was just leaving, with my 90 year old mum, to take her to a pre-op COVID test at the main hospital, on the Monday before Christmas, when she received a phone call from the hospital asking if she’d like a first Inoculation afterwards.
