Should I buy this?

I have a Volvo XC40 as a company car which will be going back to the lease company in the next 6 months as we will receive a car allowance going forward. I’ve just reluctantly sold my 2004 L322 which I used on a weekend in addition to my TD5 Defender. The plan was to replace the Volvo for one of the last L322’s however a work colleague and friend is now selling his 2017 L405 Vogue SE. He bought it new and I know the car well - it has a full MD service history but has covered 93k. He has been offered £27k against a Cayenne Turbo and I can buy it for that. I know it is due a service and MOT soon but I use a very good local independent who has full access to all LR online service detail and who I am happy can look after it going forward.

Is there anything I need to look out for away from realistic cost expectations for running and maintenance? I am going to look into an extended warranty from LR.

Many thanks

Nick

Which engine ?

@£27k I'd be very tempted - given that you know the history, that would likely tip me over the edge. If you're looking in that kind of range, you'll likely be looking long and hard to find anything close.

Yep. If it ticks the boxes.... good price... trade and all.....

The fact you know it’s history, makes it a near no brainer if you are in the market and can budget it....

Yep, 3 year old car, high mileage but good service history. Mostly motorway miles I would assume.

On a 17 plate at £27k it’s a no brainer. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

No brainer at that price, especially if you get a LR extended warranty.

At that price, you'd be mad not to, they're selling for at least £5-10k more in the open market. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

Why are you even asking if its a good deal at that price and known history. Everything similar online is at least 35-40k

Just buy it - at that price I wouldn't even have to ask SWMBO...... Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography
