Weak water flow

Hi All and Happy New Year.

Its been a while since I've been on - missed you all...!

Question however - My rear screen washer jet does work (of sorts) but is not a jet, more of a flow of water down the rear screen.

I blew out all the lines and the NRV and plenty of water flows but its not a jet or a spray of any type. I can't remember it ever being a proper spray (unlike previous car that would 'fan' the water out onto the window) but sure it shold be more than this.

Can anyone confirm what I should be getting for the rear 'jet'?

Thanks Ash

Ignore me - I just spotted this thread and will try first - I thought I blew the lines through but perhaps missed the jets

Didn't think it would take you long Stan

Nice to be back mate - missed the banter as well Smile

Can you confirm I should be getting some kind of spray (fan like or similar) rather than what appears to be a hose with no nozzle flow down the rear screen?

Cheers Ash

Well I never - All the years of RR ownership and never knew the black plastic cap had the little jet holes in it..!

I pulled it our after removing the inner trim to check the nrv again and took off the rear spoiler to reveal the wiper arm. Pulled the black cap off and blew the holes through (and yes of course I broke one side of the cap getting it out but nothing that would affect the jets)

All back and do indeed get a spray although, as the car is staitionary in the drive, i now get a puddle of screenwash water on the floor behind the rear right wheel (offside) - seems most of the water gets washed away down that side as the wiper pushes it that way.

Didn't take too long either... he says off to google for a replacement cap Smile Ash
