Each to his own, but I like mine., but I don’t think it would work as well with 2012 black lights and surrounds.

I'm different to most, I've actually looked at doing a 2002 degrade to mine, I just think the original L322 looked the best, I'd love to change the lights, grill, gills etc for the stock 2002... so much more restrained and pure of design...





It would be very difficult to do with the light monitoring system on the late one but I'd love to try... Pete

I’m with Pete on this, the original L322 looked best 👍

When I had two late D4’s on the trot, I resprayed the black outer edge of the radiator to colour key it with the car and look more like the earlier version; is that a possibility?

I prefer the darker look.....but I'm biased.

Pete, have a look at the side view... The grille sits about an inch or so further back with the lack of bars! I didn't like that type on mine when I had my last 11 plate...

Yeah, lots of options...

I'm thinking this is an improvement and looks significantly better, and keeps the cleaner lines...

I think it would look nice if the black outside was colour coded to the car.

One thing I definitely agree Pete,
That photo from 2002 shows just how good the L322 design looked from day 1.
Not many designs stand the test of time so well.... the original Classic being another prime example.
