The whole department is a great place to visit, just don't tell anyone.
We have many historic and medieval towns, just down the road from Treguier is the town of La Roche Derrien a site of one of the historic battles of the hundred years war (1347).

We have a mix of open/wooded countryside and a very long coastline and are thus never far from the sea. Very low population density ie plenty of space, not much traffic, and so far touch wood the lowest current County incidence of Covid in France.

The roads tend to be glassy smooth with speed restrictions only in the villages. There are two speed cameras within a 20km radius, but they are well sign posted and don't seem to survive lightning strikes very well!

I'm fortunate to have lived here for 30 years (time flies).
