£4K discount is an insult. No wonder they are sitting there. I wouldn't even call that a discount, that is just a rounding error. Walk away and let them know.

There being no choice of decent colours would probably bother me more than having the old engine!

The l405 has been available with the new engine for a few weeks already. But not sure if it’s really much better than the sdv6.

Neither am I! Are any SDV8’s available under this offer?

(I’d have one of those over either of the 6’s 👍)

I have seen some sdv8 offers but they are just a bit more expensive than the latest version with the D350 engine on drive the deal.

You meant that they’re in the same ball park?! 😮 I’d pay a considerable premium for an old stock SDV8 over a new D350! Thumbs Up

Have you tried one?

PS: What do you drive at the minute?

We may have a misunderstanding here, it’s not just the engine - there will be a refresh of the body design as well within 12 months.

Well, there should be no misunderstanding, the L405 is currently fitted with the new engine (D300/350 replacing the sdv6 and sdv8) and later this year (if not delayed) there will be a new version to replace the L405 but it will keep the current engines (D300/350).

Great, no misunderstanding!

If it were me, it’d be the SDV8 without a shadow of a doubt, but please let us know what you decide to do 👍
