for a wheel refurb you would have to at least break the outside bead and push the tyre down a bit, if the jobs worth doing then its worth doing properly.... ... - .- -.

The "smart" (Small to Medium Repair Technology) repairers just mask off the wheels and repair/spray the wheels, which is just a short term fix (I know, I have worked there).

I had a wheel refurb as it formed a slow leak on the rim. The refurb meand all the crud was removed and the wheel was once again smooth and air tight.. so I'd not bother with anything that doesn't involve the tyre coming off and the whole wheel being sorted. It cost me £50 nearly 2 years back and the wheel is still like new and air tight 2010 Disco XS TDV6, 2009 Freelander 2 GS
