I'm 48 and have only had the RR for 6 months, but I've always had one more comfortable car, my previous daily was a current shape BMW 750i, so not exactly a young mans car, but at least it had great performance and it was paired with a Boxster.

It's about balance, I know I'd be a bit frustrated if the RR was the only car I drove, it's important (to me) to have something fun / fast as well. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

Was going to get shut of my van at the beginning of the year but didn’t. Was a good descision, I think it might have gone up in value!

Downside....I just spent £900 having some damp fixed and the rails resealed and a twin axle service!

The toy..... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Not the youngest on here, having started the journey down the other side of the hill, had my first range rover when I was 23, 1971 two classic (brought from mum), then a early EFi four door (issues with rust) onto a P38 (4.0 litre, issue with porous block and lucas electrics, did not rust)and then a 3.6 and now a 4.4, search on for a L405, but redundancy as put this on hold
.

46. I bought my first P38 about 10 years ago and the second one 3 years ago. Various Disco 3 / 4 and Defenders before and since. First LR product at 30 was an Epsom Green 110 County TD5. I think the current P38 will remain the most modern LR product I own, I can't cope with the admin.

I was 23 in 1975 when I bought my first Range Rover.

3 classics, a P38 and 2 322s, a Velar, worst RR ever, now in a Sport.

When I went on the LR experience with the Velar the instructor said he did not get many grandads in Velars.

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Bonatti Grey

Bought mine at 34 2003 l322 4.4v8. Its no where near as quick as my previous cars subaru impreza sti v7, focus St, vectra b gsi 2.6, saab 95 hot areo, vectra c 3.0 cdti Sri remapped, cav 4x4 gsi redtop

All of those cars are naturally going to beat a range rover without too much strain but at 6ft 7 tall the range wins on luxury and comfort by a long way. All of those cars I wouldn't be able to do a long journey with out needing a comfort break but the range I've done County Durham to London in one go in the past
