I’m currently searching so keeping close to (asking) prices, at face value for a 2016 that could be good value depending on mileage / history & as Jim says, exterior/ interior colour.

Depends on mileage, assume reasonable if its at a MD which IMO makes it a great price!

A quick glance at AutoTrader for AB's with less than 45k on the clock suggests the cheapest is a 13 plate with 39k on the clock at 33.5k and the cheapest ULEZ being around 40k...

I spent way to much time shopping for a AB last year, and I must say you need to go see them the different levels of condition was frustrating even those described as "mint". We wasted several 100+ mile journeys to view vehicles described as great condition. I feel many are owned by company directors who couldn't care less.... Sold - Bell a 2015 MY16 Loire Blue Autobiography 4.4 SDV8
Previously George a 2007 MY07 Java Black VSE 3.6 TDV8
Previously a 04 MY04 Defender 90 Sad

Hi, This one is Corris Grey with Ivory, 65k on the clock one owner.
I have seen some absolute horrors and driven miles? the independents only want to sell with three months warranty this is with a year.
The previous owner bought it from the same JLR franchise and has done the P/X on a new one so full history at the same place.

Despite what car dealers are saying trading is slow and they need turnover.

I would offer £34k looking for them to come back at £35k

Just my thoughts..

Well they have only knocked a grand off. There’s more wriggle room yet and they ain’t going to be selling to packed showrooms in January...

What did you offer initially?

Jim

I did start asking for the price with finance? then said I would pay cash, That it did not seem to make any change to the price like dealer contribution?

£750 for 2 years? Blimey that’s cheap.

Just offer them £35k and ask for the 2 year warranty. They can only say no and even if they do they will know that you are interested in the car and try to put a deal together for you.

2016 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Corris Grey

Not my experience very recently - Land Rover main dealers are doing pretty well on the sales front on used cars - they can't get enough good stock to sell for the customers they have and they aren't budging on price much unless the car has been sat around for a while.

If you are happy with the price (and it looks really good compared to anything else on the Land Rover Approved Used site) then its a good deal. I've lost out on 2 405's in the last week which were sold before I could even get to see them.

Only bit of advice - check the warranty is actually the gold plated Land Rover Approved Used one and not a dealer add on from another company or the lower Land Rover assured warranty as none are as good as the AU one. Current Fleet:-
2018 Discovery 5 3.0 HSE
2021 Ford Ranger Wildtrack
2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt 5.0 V8
1993 Defender 90 200TDI Pickup

Gone - not forgotten
2016 L405 4.4 SDV8 Vogue SE
2012 L322 4.4 Westminster
2004 L322 4.4 V8 Autobiography LE
2000 P38 RR 4.0 HSE (ex Clarkson test car)
