Sorry I don't know the answer to the question but the guy I bought my RR off said that these can kill the battery. Anyone know? 2009 TDV8 3.6 |

lostinspace.......it shouldn't kill the battery unless the battery is on it's last legs I believe.

Thanks Fox, have read a fair bit about the synching process. Will look around for a T91. As you say it's the receiver number that's confusing! I've seen both versions listed for sale as suitable for the car which doesn't help. |

Jad: I was like 'a bull in the china shop' when I looked for a FBH remote, as I said earlier, saw T91R & thought 'that's what I want'.....wrong. Now you mention it, I think I read somewhere where the FAN/OFF is for the L405 version rather than the L322, anyway, pretty sure you'll need the ON/OFF version. Good luck with the search.....may even pay to stick a 'wanted' thread on the site first? If not, bay of thieves are bound to have one [just watch who/where you're buying from]. 2012 Orkney Grey Westminster 4.4TDV8 with Ivory interior.........nice!

+1, you need the T91 Remote Fob with ON / OFF, not the T91R. I have the same on my receiver T91R and got a T91 Remote Fob off the For Sale and Wanted Forum with ON / OFF, after the T91R Fob I got off ebay with Heater / OFF wouldn't sync with the receiver. The T91 Synced first time and works a treat. |

I’m happy to be corrected on this but when I was researching before I bought my fobs, I’m sure I read that it doesn’t have to be one with Land Rover on it - I believe that T91 remote for any make of car would work once programmed.

Looked at it then went with Velleman wireless remote, got two remotes, one in the house to switch it on and one left in the car which goes in my pocket so can switch fbh on when been watching grandson football practice in the winter, range a bit limited but normally I can park near enough to be able to switch it on ten minuets before practice has finished and get into a warm car. Velleman do a kit which will pick up the screen of a mobile phone when it rings which could then be used to switch on park heating, so guessing it would go something like cheap payg phone in the boot wired with 12 volt phone charger fed from a vsr to charge phone while engine running Velleman kit set so can see phone screen, in operation you ring the mobile which the Velleman kit picks up on to then switch park heating on I believe the kit does have a timer option on it, so as long as the mobile has a signal you could be anywhere in the world for it to work, just a little something for you to think about lostinspace. |
