FBH wizard in Scotland

Hello,

2011 L322 4.4 TDV8. My FBH did work until recently. Got a remote fob, paired it, now the FBH kicks in but produces no heat, just sound and vent. Fob can only show green LED and not flip to red. In-dash options do not show heat (anymore?). I am NOT technically-versed so most comments like "read out the faults with your code reader" etc are lost on me.

Do we have anyone on here in Scotland who'd know exactly what he'd be looking at with this unit? And not lose valuable - and costly - time troubleshooting it?

Ta

Tip top condition battery
More than 1/4 tank of fuel is a must.

Brand new £400 factory-spec battery eight weeks ago. Tank full. Also, wouldn't a not-tip-top battery prevent the thing from running in the first place, rather than from running hot? 2011 L322 Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Hi, have you tried pulling the fuse for the heater ? if it has 3 failed starts it seems to stop working. If you pull the fuse it resets it and then works. Happened to me a few weeks ago when I ran out of fuel and tried to start the car multiple times, removed the fuse and bingo, if its working correctly you should hear a clicking noise from the rear near to the fuel tank.
