I semi-retired last year, but nowhere near pensionable age, just had enough (literally). Was a day trader and board advisor to several companies, but with children at school age, covid happening, and CEO and investors asking me for the fourth time to join a startup I rejoined working live. So I agreed to go back and do it full-time for another five years...

I'm a CTO and also CISO, still sit on the board off several other startups, still day trading (well week more like it), so this year has turned out crazy busy. Good thing we weren't allowed holidays

I work in quality control in a bottle factory. Every now and then I pull one out from the line and if it's ok I let another few thousand go by.

Almost 35 years working in IT, either for myself or as a small cog in a very large machine.
Started out designing and building the hardware itself, and now design, build, break & fix the software.

On the side, I'm also a photographer and a writer, however neither of these earn enough to allow me to retire from the main job  Current
