Same problem here, broke an emergency key trying to open the door when the battery died an horrible death, any secret code/ password/ holy water required to open the door? Can't turn the key clockwise, body of the key in the way therefore right turn only I would have thought. |

I should have looked on Youtube first before even attempting to op the door with the key, using the key to open the door. Only someone with a wild imagination would insert the key, only a little way, twist, lever and remove the cover bit on the handle, then and only then can you use the key, don't forget to disable the alarm by holding the smart key against the steering column, buttons on the outside, then press the stop/start button, why didn't I try to look this up in the owners manual??, Ah locked in the car, silly me. |
