United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Orkney Grey
Original wheel “colour”

I have a 2012 in Orkney Grey with (I think) style 18 wheels.
At some point prior to my ownership someone, I think, had the wheels refurbed and also colour matched to the body. (See pic)
I can see why they did that, but the result is that 30 seconds after cleaning them they look grubby again.
As such, I’d like to go back to the stock colour, but I’m not sure what to describe/pick when getting quotes.

Any ideas?

The original colour may have been Sparkle Silver, code MNH. But not 100% sure for your RR year.

I think there were 2 different ways those wheels came.

Painted, but also diamond cut

I redid mine in shadow chrome.....

Oh that's funny, I was just going through the same research today with the 2012 Orkney Grey FFRR I just bought, too.
A previous owner had those wheels painted black, and while they look ok-ish I guess when they;re freshly washed (I'm not a fan of black wheels), they look dreadful by the time you've got half way down the road.

I'm thinking of taking them back to silver as well.

Nice looking car. Thumbs Up

Would definitely look better with lighter wheels. The silver looked dirty really quickly which is why I went for the shadow chrome. At least that what I think it was..... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Thanks, I'll bear that in mind as I don't want to end up with the same problem Laughing
I think I need to do a quick Potatoshop image edit with your wheels to see how it'd look... Thumbs Up

Thanks, based on small photos on Autotrader I wasn't fussed at all about the design pack when searching, but when I saw this one in the metal (it was the closest full fat to me) I really liked it, looks much better than in photos I think.

I do plan to get a tow bar on this at some point, so no doubt there'll be some faffing about then, but that's for future DJ to worry about. Laughing
