Hello!

Hi all,

Purchased a 2017 L405 SVAutobiography two weeks ago. Loving it so far!

Have previously owned a load of Jags so the LR feels very similar.
Had an XJ and then got a dog so moved to a F-Pace but hated the cheap interior. After a year of that I decided it was time to get something a little nicer.

Already asked a couple of questions and looking forward to participating on the forum.

Cheers,
Mark

Ps I meant the car..... Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

He who dies with the most toys wins...

You can’t come on here and tell us all this and not give us a photo of your dog 😁

Good choice by the way, my favourite year for a 405 👍

If we don’t get a picture soon, we’ll have to start guessing what kind of dog it is Whistle Laughing

The 405 feels ever so slightly more modern. I guess the design is a couple of years newer.

The RR is marginally nicer too - the cup holder cover is sturdy in the RR but was cheaper plastic in the XJ. I really can’t criticise the XJ as I absolutely loved it and do still miss it.

The RR is obviously bigger and certainly feels a lot roomier. The XJ feels quite compact inside and you don’t realise you’re in such a large car.

One criticism of the 405 is the centre storage. The cooler means there’s no space and even if there was it’s smaller than the XJ. That said there’s more storage elsewhere in the RR.

I got Milo from a rescue centre last December.
He’s a 6 year old Labrador/GSD cross.

A couple of months ago I then got Clemmie. She’s a year old and was returned to the breeder because she was apparently impossible to deal with. She’s slowly getting better but it’s going to take some time!

When I knew I was getting Milo I bought a F-Pace and then sold the XJ so I never actually put a dog in the XJ.

On paper the F-Pace seemed like the perfect car and I thought I’d be happy with a fully loaded one, but ended up hating the cheap interior.
