Egr delete problem

I’ve just fitted the egr from jgs4x4 to my 2006 td6 but I can’t for the life of me get the jubilee clip with “V” shape clamp from the stainless steel pipe on the left to seal against the solid blank on the bypass!! Anyone else had this problem

This is the one I’ve fitted, where the part circled in red joins the stainless steal cooler pipe I cannot get a good seal

You need to fully open them (like fully non attached anymore) and then reattach it

but then again the question stays.
Why not remove the whole thing? cooler and all

so i'm now going to do the last as well.

Reason?
Egr cool thermostat can give issues so beter gut the full thing

Do what ?

fully open the spanner?
Keep turning

remove the whole thing?

google
-fully remove egr
-remove egr cooler td6 and you will find.

Don't want to post links
on ebay there is the egr-delete seller who has the complete set
but don't want to adv anybody but it could help

2002 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Epsom Green

The reason not to remove it is an obvious EGR or DPF delete/bypass is an MOT failure in the UK.
How strictly this is enforced is down to the MOT tester but if you want make sure you pass then don't make obvious changes like removing it completely.

The clamp was broken but must have overtightened it ! Ordered a new one off the bay and fitted sealed up nicely thanks
