Ryan, a mate of mine had similar happen to him, and plod suggested he stuck a GB badge on the rear of his "correct" vehicle and inform them so it would be logged on PNC...

The London council that issued the PCN cancelled it based on ‘spot the subtle difference’ evidence offered that showed the car in their images wasn’t ours. Took them two months to reply |

And another one... has dropped through the letterbox for another London Borough. Another 4 hours of life we won’t get back notifying the authorities so as to get it cancelled |

Rang the MPS this morning. They hadn't put a PNC marker on the registration number last time I reported it. They have now. It's already on a private plate, that's the plate they're falsely displaying. Now going to swap the current plate for another private plate we already have... for the reasons you've highlighted nmj. |
