I think it was dingg and dolphinboy when I asked a year or so ago said it happens some times. Fuel trims are bang on no faults no air leaks so assumed it was it’s only occasional. Back to the problem at hand - I have brand new genuine maf and o2s at the beginning of the year all genuine jlr so don’t think it’s that. I have changed 3 coils could the rest need doing again no faults so hard to tell Current stable: 2006 BMW M6 2007 4.2 V8 S/C FF Gone: 2002 4.4 V8 FF |

Good idea , I cleaned my MAF on my MK1 Octavia VRS couple of years ago and it did improve general performance and tickover. Most motor factors sell the aerosol cleaner or fleabay / Amazon. |

As I say maf is genuine only 10 months old so doubt it’s that same as the o2s Current stable:
