That sounds like a hell of a lot of work compared to just getting one with the options fitted. RSE was the best part of £2500. I’m sure you could retro fit both, but not gonna be cheap or easy. To be fair, mine has RSE and I’ve used it once in 5 years. Wished I had the 1200w hifi, as I listen to music every journey.

Re the cameras, my car has them and I really don't think they are that amazing or useful. The reversing camera is the important one but all the later cars have that.

Same as above. Mine has them, no real use other than reverse camera.

Surround cameras were a must have for me as our X-Trail has them and they're brilliant.

As above, I am however missing the superior sound system. It is something I am looking to add when I find a donor vehicle.

Is the Chromecast for Audio? I've been trying to get an ipad to work as a video source (as the DVD player is u/s) and it works sometimes with a couple of adaptors but not reliably enough for the kids' liking so I'd be interested in hearing about any other methods. 2010 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE |

I've set the Chromecast up for full video streaming. I bought an HDMI to AV converter (about £20 on ebay IIRC) and connect to the AV plugs in the rear of the centre console. You also need to get USB power to it, but that's easy enough from any of the cigarette lighter sockets. From memory, the main issue, is that Chromecast is wifi streaming rather than bluetooth, so you need chromecast to be on the same WiFi as the device streaming the media. I have 2 phones, one work and one personal, so I got round this by setting up a WiFi hotspot on one phone, and connecting the Chomecast and my other phone to that same hotspot. So the cable runs were a bit messy, and the wifi a bit fiddly at first, but it all worked fine. If I was going to use it a lot, I would probably look into a cleaner, more hidden installation, but for me (at the moment) it's not worth it. It all sits in a bag in the glovebox. It's only 3 AV plugs and the lighter socket to plug in, and then it's all up and running. hope that helps. |

I have a set of the headrests with screens, headphones, centre console; inputs which is a Land Rover Kit. The headrests are trimmed in black leather and were for the Freelander 2 but I believe they were all the same system across the different ranges? It is all brand new and in it's original box if you want to make me an offer just PM me 2019 Autobiography SDV8 Byron blue/black - current
